The Republic of Korea is a significant market for Australian businesses. Underpinned by the Korea Australia Free Trade Agreement (KAFTA), two-way trade of goods and services is valued at $38.9 billion in 2019-20.

Japan is Australia’s third largest trading partner of goods and services in 2019-20. Around 95 per cent of eligible exports enter Japan under the Japan-Australia Economic Partnership Agreement (JAEPA).

Our expert panel from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), Export Council of Australia and private sector will share insights on the opportunities and risks of doing business in Japan and the Republic of Korea.
