[Exclusive Event] Senior Business Leader’s Tour of POSCO Pohang Steelworks

In celebrating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations, AustCham Korea is pleased to host an exclusive Senior Business Leader’s Tour of POSCO Pohang Steelworks on the Thursday, 11 of November.

As Australia’s single largest customer, invitees will be able to gain an in-person perspective of the size and magnitude of POSCO’s operations. POSCO and Australia share and long-lasting and important relationship with POSCO buying 39 million tonnes of iron ore and 12 million tonnes of coal from Australian suppliers to make steel products worth U$4.4 billion in 2018.

Leaving from Seoul, the tour will include a lunch and a site tour of POSCO Pohang Steelworks and will be attended be around 12-15 chamber sponsors and senior members of the Australia-Korea business community.

The event is part of a series of several high-level engagements celebrating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Australia and the Republic of Korea.
