2021 AustCham Board of Directors Elections

[Updated 24 November 2020]

Dear Members,

AustCham Korea is now seeking nominations for our 2021 Board of Directors Elections.

In accordance with the AustCham constitution and by-laws, Directors step down (or apply for re-election) after two years and Board Elections elections are held.

Up to six Board Director vacancies will be created through this process and the nominations will be open for seven working days, between Wednesday, November 25 and Friday, December 4, with the election scheduled to take place between Friday, December 11, 2020 and Thursday, December 24, 2020. New Directors will formally commence their terms from the day of the Annual General Meeting (scheduled for February 2021).

AustCham’s success depends on the participation of its members and we welcome nominations from across our membership so that the Board composition represents the interests of all members. You can find information about our current Board here.

The details of the nomination and voting process are set out in the nomination form below. Please make sure to email your nomination form to the Chamber’s Executive Director (exec@austchamkorea.org) before by Friday, December 4, 2020.

An independent balloting committee will screen nominations, confirm their validity, oversee the on-line election process, scrutinise votes and notify members of the results in accordance with the constitution.
