AustCham Korea Participates in Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR)

On Monday, December 4, AustCham Korea attended a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event as a part of the Community Meal Service Initiative. AustCham’s Secretariat was well represented, attending the soup kitchen to bring the business community together to assist the Seoul Senior Welfare Center (서울노인복지센터– 중앙고령자취업센터) and provide meals to disadvantaged community members.

Interns from the Griffith University Global Asia Business Internship (GABI), who are interning at an array of companies including GrapeLab, Lighters Company, JH Sustain, BeLuxe Inc., and Sharemelon, assisted with serving food and washing dishes. Diana Underwood from WorkWell Ergonomics Korea and Kyla Breheny also gave their time on the day.

Attending the soup kitchen is a part of AustCham Korea’s broader CSR efforts, with the local focus reflecting the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to fostering Korea-Australia relations.

AustCham Korea would like to extend our special thanks to Harry Lee from the CSR Sub-Committee for his time and effort to help organise the event.
