Educating Western Sydney University About Korea

On Tuesday, January 10, AustCham Korea’s Project Manager Grace Casley organised an educational session with Economist Intelligence Corporate Network’s Seoul Network Moderator Jacco Zwetsloot for Western Sydney University.

This session was presented to 10 undergraduate students from the Business School at WSU visiting South Korea with their professor. The students were visiting Seoul on a short-term academic study tour in South Korea between January 10-20, 2023, as part of the Australian Government New Colombo Plan. This trip was organised to establish lifelong relationships between South Korea and Australia through the mobility of university students. During the trip, WSU’s students were able to get hands-on exposure by visiting cultural sites, academic universities and innovative companies and entrepreneurs.

As part of this program, the AustCham Korea Secretariat and Mr Zwetsloot met with the students to share their experience working in Korea, as well as insights on what makes South Korea an innovative economy.

AustCham Korea was delighted to host Western Australia University, and looks forward to seeing them in Korea again.
