AustCham Korea Takes on the Bledisloe Cup
On Thursday, September 15, 2022, AustCham Korea hosted the third Pub Night of the year, supported by ANZA and KiwiCham.
Australians and New Zealanders gathered at the Workshop in Haebangchon to watch the Bledisloe Cup, an annual rugby union competition originally staged between the national teams of Australia’s Wallabies and New Zealand’s All Blacks, contested since the 1930s. Guests were treated to complimentary charcuterie boards and Workshop-classic pie specials.
With both teams battling it out to the very end, mixed Aussie-Kiwi cheering was a constant. Congratulations to the All Blacks for pulling in a close win in the final minutes of the game. AustCham Korea was delighted to organise an event fostering the shared passion for Rugby here in Seoul, South Korea.
