Robert Walters Korea Pledges 10,000-won Donation to Support Local Sustainability for Every Placement Made

On April 5, 2022, Robert Walters Korea announced the ‘Save the Earth with Robert Walters’, a year-round campaign in which, for every placement made, 10,000-won will be donated to local environmental organisations paving the way towards environmental conservation. ‘Save the Earth with Robert Walters’ is a local initiative run by the Korea and Japan offices, as part of their reforestation project, that pledges to plant one tree for each candidate placement. This program is in partnership with the World Land Trust.

The purpose of the program is to empower people and organisations to fulfil their unique potential, which defines the way the Robert Walters Group engages with candidates and clients, as well as local communities around the globe.

Protecting the planet is one of the key pillars of Robert Walters’ corporate responsibility strategy. They have a longstanding track record of environmental stewardship, investing in several carbon reduction, reforestation, and energy efficiency measures to reduce the carbon footprint on the environment. Since 2015, their operations have been fully carbon balanced, offsetting their carbon emissions by contributing to the World Land Trust’s Carbon Balanced program, which protects and restores threatened forests.

Robert Walters continues to seek ways to further reduce its carbon footprint through regular consultations with external experts and advisors. By committing to these sustainability initiatives, the Robert Walters Group aims to secure future opportunities and create long-term value for its stakeholders.
