This morning Woodside Energy CEO, Meg O’Neill, joined WA Premier Mark McGowan to announce plans to establish a world-scale hydrogen and ammonia production facility in southern metropolitan Perth.

When it reaches its full potential, the proposed H2Perth project would be one of the largest facilities of its kind in the world, producing up to 1500 tonnes per day of hydrogen.

Meg said H2Perth, to be built on industrial land in Kwinana and Rockingham, would be a landmark project both for Woodside and for the State of Western Australia.
