AustCham Korea Joins HI-GPTP Program Launch, Hosted by Korea Pen and Induk University

On Thursday, September 2nd, the AustCham Korea Secretariat had the pleasure of participating in the orientation ceremony for the 2021 Hybrid Internship based Global Practical Training Program (HI-GPTP), co-hosted by Korea Pen and Induk University.

The program will involve Induk University students, divided into two teams of 6, completing various business training activities, presenting startup company pitches and solving problems posed by corporate partners of the program.

AustCham Korea’s Executive Director, Rowan Petz, provided some congratulatory remarks during the session, introducing AustCham Korea, giving an overview of Australia-Korea bilateral relations and sharing tips for students to make the most of the program.

“Following the signing of the MoU between AustCham Korea, Induk University and Korea Pen, we are excited to officially start the HI-GPTP program and look forward to seeing the students grow through their professional development journey”, he said.
