AustCham Secretariat Visits New Herbert Smith Freehills Office in Seoul

On Tuesday, August 24th, the AustCham Korea Secretariat paid a visit to the new Herbert Smith Freehills office in Seoul.

The new office, located on the 15th floor of the Ferrum Tower, several blocks east of City Hall, features state-of-the-art AV capabilities, standing desks, acoustic wall panels and a newly equipped pantry. Indigenous artworks brighten up the lobby and the new office is spacious and well-lit, allowing for greater flexibility in the day-to-day use of the space while better accommodating agile working.

You can also find several AustCham Korea Sponsor Awards on display throughout the office space, reflecting HSF’s longstanding support of the Chamber and the Australia-Korea business community.

AustCham Korea Executive Director, Rowan Petz, reflected on this ongoing relationship, “Herbert Smith Freehills has been supporting the Chamber for many years and it is certain that the firm has made significant contributions within the Australia-Korea business corridor. We look forward to continuing our cooperation, particularly in the emerging priority areas such as hydrogen, renewable energy and critical minerals.”

The Secretariat team greatly enjoyed the office tour and would like to extend special thanks to Ken Nam, Of Counsel, for the invitation.
