Hydrogen Workshop Hosted in Seoul

On Wednesday, July 28, Austrade and H2Korea successfully hosted the first hydrogen workshop with South Australia (SA), Western Australia (WA), New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland (QLD) state government representatives.

The workshop followed on from the Australia-Korea Hydrogen Roundtable, hosted on April 27, and was moderated by Ron Green, Trade and Investment Commissioner at Austrade Seoul. Speakers included Edit Mucsi, Business Development Manager, SA State Government, Caroline Cherry, Executive Director, WA State Government, Tim Stock, Project Director, NSW State Government, and Andrew Broadbent, Director, QLD State Government. AustCham Korea’s Executive Director, Rowan Petz, assisted with moderating the Q&A for the event.

While it is regrettable that the workshop could not be hosted in hybrid format, it was great to have more than 100 registrations for the event. The workshop recording is available on AustCham Korea’s YouTube channel.

The Chamber is pleased to continue supporting Australia-Korea engagements in the hydrogen sector and looks forward to hosting other relevant events on the subject in the future.
