Chillhops and the Korean Craft Beer Community recently received a thankyou letter from the Australian Zoo Wildlife Warriors for their support of the Australian Bushfire Relief efforts. In March, Chillhops and Korea’s craft beer industry came together to launch a new beverage for the cause called ‘Helping Hands’ – An Australian Pale Ale. All proceeds from the sale of the Helping Hands beers was sent to Australia.

$12,173.76 was collected and went to help with:

• Assisting with emergency rescue efforts on Kangaroo Island
• Expanding facilities at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital to better cope with the influx of patients
• Sending medical supplies to wildlife rescuers and carers
• Putting together bat carer packs to be sent home with wildlife carers
• Purchasing specialised equipment such as a laser to treat burn injuries
• Purchasing commercial food preparation equipment for wildlife groups
