Important update in regards to AustCham Korea’s AGM.
Due to the recent CoVID-19 outbreak, both the Korean and Australian governments have recommended that the people should avoid large public gatherings and ‘exercise a high degree of caution’. To avoid cancelling the AGM, the Chamber has taken the extraordinary decision to ask all Members to not attend the AGM but to alternatively, vote on the necessary agenda items via a proxy vote.
To be compliant with the Chamber’s Constitution, we are required to have at least 20% of our Membership in support of the Treasurer’s Report and Appointment of Directors. As such, we ask all Members to download, print, sign and scan the 2020 AGM Proxy Vote form and send it to info@austchamkorea.org prior to 1pm Wednesday 26th February 2020.
The Chamber will do its utmost to host similar ‘Members Event’ in the near future in response to this decision, updating Members on AustCham’s 2020 Agenda and introducing the new Board of Directors.
