Speaker Introductions:

Eric Kim

Founder and CEO of Datacrunch Global

Eric Kim is an experienced Data Scientist and Management Scientist trained in the industry, government, and academia. He is the founder and CEO of Datacrunch Global, which is a leading AI & Data Science empowered strategic management consulting service. Datacrunch Global is well known for innovating global private equity and multinational companies to maximize profits. He also serves the Division of International Studies as an adjunct professor in digital transformation and econometrics. Prior to transferring to the Division of International Studies, he was an adjunct professor at the Business School.

Before founding Datacrunch Global, he founded a micro brewery business, which he explored opportunities to procure Australian hops for brewing quality beer. He formerly worked at the Korean government as an economist focusing on tax policies, and at Andersen Business Consulting and BearingPoint as a consultant earlier in his career. While working at Andersen and BearingPoint, he actively worked with the Melbourne office where he had been Australianised by his Aussie co-workers.

He holds a PhD ABD from KAIST, and MA and BS in Economics from University of Missouri. He is multicultural, understanding the cultures of Korea, Australia, Japan, and the US.
