Australia-Korea Business Leaders Engage in Exclusive Roundtable Discussion.
On February 25, AustCham Korea hosted an exclusive business roundtable with Australian Ambassador Jeffrey Robinson with over 20 leaders from business and Australian government. The closed-door session, hosted by Silver-member Mott MacDonald, brought together C-suite executives from AustCham Korea’s Platinum, Gold, and Silver-level member companies for a candid discussion on the evolving business landscape.
Ambassador Robinson spoke passionately about Korea’s remarkable economic growth, democratic development, and the strength of Australia-Korea trade relations. The conversation that followed highlighted opportunities and challenges faced by each of the leaders, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in key industries and the value of having conversations with government representatives.
High-level forums such as this provide a vital platform for Australian businesses operating in Korea to engage directly with the head of the Australian Mission, as well as Austrade, Australian state government offices of trade and investment, and each other, ensuring continued momentum in bilateral trade and investment.
AustCham Korea thanks James Taylor and Ben Lim of Mott MacDonald for hosting, and all participants for their frank and valuable insights, and looks forward to further strengthening Australia-Korea business ties.
