On Friday, January 3, AustCham Korea had the privilege of attending the New Year’s reception hosted by the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). The event brought together hundreds of Korean business leaders, alongside representatives from various organisations including the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the Dutch Business Council of Korea, and several embassies. AustCham Korea was represented by its Senior Advisor, Jacco Zwetsloot.

Acting President Choi Sang-mok delivered a speech, expressing his hopes for the success of Korea’s economy in 2025, despite recent challenges. His optimistic outlook was echoed by remarks from representatives of the three main political parties, the Chair of the KCCI, the Austrian Ambassador, and the head of AMCHAM. AustCham Korea joins them in wishing for a successful year of trade and business.
