AustCham Korea Takes Center Stage at Korea Australia Future Forum on Economic Cooperation

On Friday, November 1, the Korea Australia Future Forum was held, co-hosted by the Australia Korea Foundation and the Korea Foundation at the Shilla Hotel. The various sessions at this Forum discussed different areas of cooperation between the governments, companies, and people of Australia and Korea, and the ways that they may grow and change in the future.

AustCham Korea’s Senior Advisor Jacco Zwetsloot moderated the second session, on Economic Security and Trade Cooperation. Each of the four speakers, including AustCham Korea platinum member John Walker of Eastpoint, gave thorough and thoughtful presentations looking at different aspects of the Australia-Korea economic security and trade partnership.

The Chamber was further represented by Board of Governors member Sandra Park, country manager of Woodside, as a discussant. Ms Park contributed to developing the discussion with the speakers about ways that bilateral ties could be further strengthened.
