AustCham Korea Silver Members’ Appreciation Dinner
On October 24, AustCham Korea hosted its annual Silver Members’ Appreciation Dinner at the residence of the Deputy Head of Mission at the Australian Embassy, Mr Martin Walker.
It was wonderful to return to the beautifully situated DHOM’s residence after several years of absence, and the weather was perfect for sitting outdoors while eating and talking. The food was excellent, as was the Australian wine.
AustCham Korea is grateful to Martin and Sachi Walker for opening their home to the Chamber’s silver members, and to Martin Walker and Dane Richmond for their concise, insightful updates on the state of Australia-Korea relations in politics, regional security, defence, and trade. AustCham Korea would also like to thank its Vice Chairman, David Lee of Yoon & Yang for his remarks in response on behalf of the Chamber.
Borrowing from what David said, a chamber of commerce is only as strong and effective as its members help it to be. Thanks to the spirited support of our silver members and their participation in Chamber events, AustCham Korea has been able to grow both in size and influence. Ultimately, this growth is a win-win, as its role and mission is to support its members and help them succeed in cross-border business between Australia and Korea.
AustCham Korea looks forward to another year of collaboration and celebration with its silver members in 2025.
