Silver Sponsor Luncheon With Deputy Head of Mission, Dr Alexandra Siddall

On Wednesday, June 14, Australia’s Deputy Head of Mission, Dr Alexandra Siddall, and the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AustCham Korea) hosted the Chamber’s Silver Sponsors and special guests for a private lunch at the Conrad, Seoul.

Over lunch, Dr Siddall provided in-depth insight into key points currently powering the bilateral relationship, followed by a lively and candid discussion from all around the table.

During the lunch, Dr Siddall stated, “With COVID restrictions relaxed, we have seen a huge influx of business and government visitors to Korea. Getting people to Korea is half the battle. Once they’re here, they are usually blown away by what Korea has to offer their business. But as we on the ground know, visits build relationships, and relationships are vital to doing business and getting things done in Korea.”

“The hard work of AustCham to build visit programs for many of these visitors, as well as the time and effort of your members in coming to events, have contributed enormously to the success of these government engagements and have built stronger links between our two countries”.

AustCham Korea is delighted to work so closely with the Australian Embassy in the Republic of Korea, and thanks Dr Alexandra Siddall for leading the luncheon.
