AustCham Korea Completes CPR and First Aid Course With Red Cross Korea

On Wednesday, May 17, the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AustCham Korea) hosted a 4-hour CPR training course with the assistance of Red Cross Korea. This course provided participants with the knowledge and skills to provide potentially lifesaving CPR during a medical emergency.

Over the course of the 4-hour program, participants learned the following skills and informative points: the history of first aid, what to do in an emergency, how to check over a patient, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and how to help someone who is choking, among many other things.

AustCham Korea would like to thank those who participated, including representatives from Mott MacDonald, Pepper Savings Bank, JLL, Korea Risk Group, New York Times, Embassy of Papua New Guinea and KB Bank, along with Red Cross Korea for providing an incredibly informative class.
