Last Thursday, December 2, 2021, AustCham Korea was pleased to host a special business leaders reception marking the 60th Anniversary of Australia-Korea Diplomatic Relations.

Aiming to bring together business leaders and thank Chamber Sponsors for their ongoing support, the event brought together government representatives and senior business leaders to mingle and reflect on this important milestone between the two countries.

Her Excellency, Catherine Raper, Australian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Jaewan Lee, Vice President, POSCO, and Chris Raciti, Chair, AustCham Korea, provided opening remarks to share their thoughts on the past highlights and future trajectory of Australia-Korea diplomatic ties.

Attendees, who were all fully vaccinated, were able to enjoy food & drinks served by the Hilton team and Australian-themed products graciously supplied by AustCham partners, including Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, Koala Karma and Mavella Superfoods and ChillHops.

The event was supported by the Australian Embassy in the Republic of Korea and hosted at the Millennium Hilton Seoul.
