Pepper Savings Bank (CEO Matthew Chang) announced that it held the launching ceremony for the 5th ‘Hot Peppers,’ a university student ambassador program, on July 14.

A total of 20 students of Hot Peppers, who were selected through document screening and interview during the last June, will take a role as contents creator of Pepper Savings Bank until August 28, by planning and producing diverse brand contents. ‘Hot Peppers’, which marks its fifth anniversary this year, is the university student program that was launched for the first time in the non-bank financial industry in 2016. It has provided students opportunities to broaden their understanding in business practices as well as marketing and public relations.

This year, participants will experience not only online and offline marketing activities but also planning and producing video content based on professional lectures by field experts and mentoring by staff.

For the excellent participants of Hot Peppers, internship opportunities, and recruitment benefits will be provided. Two of the program participants last year have been employed as a regular employee through those benefits.

“As ‘Hot Peppers’ is a part of our efforts to develop future talents of the financial industry, we will continuously support the program to be positioned as a representative university student program in the non-banking financial industry,” said Matthew Chang, the CEO of Pepper Savings Bank. “I also look forward to seeing passionate challenges and great achievements of the 5th Hot Peppers.”
