AustCham Korea’s recently established Financial Services Sub-Committee (FSSC) would like to invite you to attend a special briefing on the Australian Financial Services Industry Royal Commission, presented by Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF).

Unprecedented in its forensic examination of the conduct of Australia’s financial services industry, the completion of the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, superannuation and Financial Services Industry is likely to represent a pivotal point in the history of the industry. With the exposure of past wrongdoing, and commitments
to effect change which will improve the way in which business is conducted in the future, the industry is poised to reset. A new beginning. – HSF report.

Connected via a video conference call with Herbert Smith Freehills experts in Sydney, Australia, attendees will be updated on the following:

  1. How the Royal Commission worked and what issues it focussed on.
  2. Key recommendations and implications.

Following the briefing, guests will be invited to a short Q&A session with HSF experts.
