COVID-19 Webinar: Cybersecurity for Business

AustCham Korea is pleased to invite you to join our upcoming webinar, ‘Cybersecurity for Business’ on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. To give insights on the topic we will have Dr Amani Ibrahim, Senior Lecturer (Cyber Security) at Deakin University, as well as Jo Billing and Stella Voules MAPS GAICD, Directors and Co-CEOs of JOST & Co present their ideas.

The webinar will start with an introductory presentation from Dr Ibrahim, giving an overview of cybersecurity issues and the impact of COVID-19’s digital transformation on the cybersecurity space. To give practical insights into how businesses can implement cybersecurity policies, the second part of the discussion, run by Jo Billing and Stella Voules, will share tips on how to build a cybersafe culture within your team.

To wrap-up, we will have a Q&A session answering pre-submitted questions and those submitted by attendees during the webinar.

Dr Amani Ibrahim
Senior Lecturer (Cyber Security) at Deakin University
A technically-advanced academic cybersecurity expert with business acumen matched by significant industry experience and passion that has helped organisations to stay safe and secure by working with people at all levels to simplify security and help them adopt these best practices. As a senior lecturer at the Centre for cybersecurity Research & Innovation, she is always on the move, travelling to give talks within the industry; to various academic establishments, and government organisations; who are looking to stay safe while moving into newer and more open platforms in today’s global IT-driven world.
Dr. Ibrahim aims to build a stronger and much more knowledgeable workforce that can undertake the ever-changing and challenging security footprint. Dr. Ibrahim has made similar advancements through designing, constantly developing, and updating the cybersecurity courses and degrees at the university. She is passionate about teaching the new generation the latest trends and threats of today’s challenging cybersecurity world through practical labs which mimic real-world scenarios and employee real business world threats.
Dr. Ibrahim understands that this career requires continuous education and multi-disciplinary knowledge to be ahead of the adversary; she, being a senior researcher has made this part of her daily routine. Amani has a strong research experience in cybersecurity, with tens of scientific publications in highly ranked venues and many R&D projects with different industry partners.
As a board member and head of IT Security for “Go Girl, Go for IT” organization, Amani loves to engage with and empower women to work and make a difference in the cybersecurity world, and more broadly in the IT industry.

Jo Billing

Jo is a leader in the change management industry, with over twenty years of change experience spanning industry, project type and tenure. She has worked with numerous organisations not just in supporting the successful implementation of long lasting change, but in developing change methodology, tools and capability. Her career spans organisations such as Arthur Andersen, Singapore Airlines, ANZ Bank, Lonely Planet Publications.  She has a keen interest in working with leaders to develop their change approach, style and expertise so that they can confidently lead change in their teams.

Jo holds a Master of Applied Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Commerce (Management & Accounting) from Deakin University.

Stella Voules MAPS GAID

Stella is a psychologist and senior human resources professional with management and consulting experience, and a broad skillset across a variety of industries. She has over twenty years of experience working leadership teams at Mercer, ANZ Bank, National Australia Bank, University of Melbourne, large Government Departments and as an independent consultant.  She is a strategic thinker with strong execution and operational experience, with an appreciation of risk and governance from her banking, Board and public sector experience, she is creative and agile delivering pragmatic and robust solutions collaboratively with her clients.

Stella hold a Master of Applied Commerce from the University of Melbourne, a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology from Swinburne University and a Bachelor of Arts (Statistics/ Psychology) from Monash University.
