2020 Board of Directors Nominations Now Open!

AustCham Korea is now seeking nominations for ourĀ 2020 Board of Directors Elections.

In accordance with the AustCham constitution and by-laws, seven Board Director vacancies will be created through the Board Nominations and Elections process.

The official nomination period is 7-working days, between Wednesday, November 13 and Friday, November 22, with the election scheduled to take place between Friday, November 29 and Thursday, December 12. New Directors will formally commence their terms from the day of the Annual General Meeting (scheduled for February 2020).

AustCham’s success depends on the participation of its members and we welcome nominations from across our membership so that the Board composition represents the interests of all members. You can find information about our current Board here.

AlthoughĀ Board Directors typically serve aĀ two-year term, due to the irregularity of the election cycleĀ this year we have an option for one 2020 newly elected Board Member to serve for a period of one-year. In light of this, please make sure to include your term preference in your applicationĀ but be aware thatĀ only one out of seven slots can serve for this shortened period.

An independent balloting committee will screen nominations, confirm their validity, oversee the on-line election process, scrutinise votes and notify members of the results in accordance with the constitution.
