During yesterday’s Foundation Day holiday (October 3) AustCham’s team of volunteers assisted Anna’s House with a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative that involved feeding feeding the elderly, sick and disadvantaged in Seongnam city. AustCham would like to thank everyone who came to lend a hand and supported the work of Father Vincenzo  and his team at Anna’s House kitchen, which feeds up to 550 people per day.

Anna’s House which was started and run by Father Vincenzo welcomes the homeless, elderly, jobless and children from the street. Last year, it served over 80,000 evening meals to those less fortunate and also provided a vital avenue for those who are seeking employment, legal counselling and basic necessities, such as clothes. In addition, Father Vincenzo’s team also provide dentistry, psychiatric and oriental medical assistance to those in need.
