ANZAC Day Dawn Service

Yesterday, AustCham Korea paid their respects by attending the Anzac Day Dawn Service at the War Memorial of Korea. Following the service, AustCham members took part in a wreath-laying presentation at the Australian monument in the Role of Honour hall.

The event gave a chance for those in the Australian and New Zealand communities to show their respect to those who served and died in war and on operational service past and present.

Anzac Day is one of Australia’s most important national occasions, marking the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.

The spirit of ANZAC, with its qualities of courage, mateship, and sacrifice, continues to have meaning and relevance for our sense of national identity.
