Pepper Savings Bank – ‘2019 The Best Brand by Consumer Recommendation’

Hosted by The Chosun Ilbo, the top-tier general daily in Korea, and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), the ‘The Best Brand by Consumer Recommendation’ allows consumers to select brands which have enhanced the right to know and the right of choice for consumers as well as their own corporate values.

To this end, Hankook Research and Consumer Evaluation Committee conducted a survey targeting brand experts and 1,000 consumers between January 2 and January 25, based on brand preference, experience, innovativeness, satisfaction, and PSB was selected as the ‘Best Savings Bank Brand’.

Established in October 2013, PSB has continued to grow as one of the top ten savings bank entities in Korea with more than 300 employees and the asset size of AUD 3 billion in five years. Moreover, the number of PSB’s customer has increased to 150,000, increasing 10 times from 15,000 when it was first established.

As a sole Australian savings bank in Korea centring on middle-rate unsecured loan, PSB’s loan portfolio ranges from mortgage, SOHO (Small Office Home Office), SME (Small & Medium-sized Enterprise) and auto.
